It’s easy to think that concepts like sustainability are only about the climate. At Movex, we take a more holistic view of sustainability, which affects everything from the way we are and act to the choices we make.

Of course, products play a central role in our work, but we have chosen to focus on sustainability from several perspectives.

Only then can we take seriously our role as a trusted manufacturer and employer.

Good profitability and a strong financial position are important factors in creating the conditions for long-term sustainable development.

Offering decent working conditions is of course a matter of course at Movex.

We also prioritize health, gender equality and diversity, and employee participation and development opportunities.

We systematically conduct work environment management (AFS 2001:1) for safer workplaces where we actively work to reduce airborne pollution, noise, dust and waste.

In our efforts to preserve nature and contribute to a circular and sustainable society, we work continuously to adapt our operations to the environment. When a completely new product is developed and designed, we take into account the choice of materials and how it can affect the environment. No product should contain environmentally or health hazardous substances if it can be avoided and recyclable materials are prioritized.

Energy-saving features are always prioritized and the goal is to exceed efficiency requirements. In the manuals of the machines, we provide information on how to use the product to extend its life.

We also use modern environmental technology and renewable energy from Skellefteå Kraft (district heating with biomass and hydropower) so that our production is more efficient and has a lower environmental impact.

We are continuously investigating, developing and monitoring our operations to minimize negative environmental impacts.

We also hold others to the same high standards as ourselves. That is why we also encourage our suppliers of goods and services to examine their own environmental impact and minimize their negative environmental effects.

Recycling and the prevention of environmental pollution must be incorporated into all processes and we must strive to exceed the legal, regulatory and standard requirements imposed on our operations. We will also constantly improve our operations by listening to environmental developments and adopting and using new
environmentally friendly products.

By manufacturing high quality products, which have both a longer life and better function, we help to improve our customers’ competitiveness and economy, but also the end customers’ working environment is improved, which means increased health, quality and economy.

We also work to ensure that all production of parts included in our products takes place as close to Skellefteå as possible to avoid unnecessary transportation. When products are produced abroad, we demand good working conditions and work environment there as well.

We also work to ensure that our suppliers of goods and services examine their own environmental impact and minimize their negative environmental effects.

Recycling and prevention of environmental disturbances must be present in all processes and an effort must be made to exceed the legal, regulatory and standard requirements imposed on our operations.

At Movex, we also minimize our transport volume through smart product solutions. Products are packaged with recycled corrugated cardboard that can easily be recycled after transportation. In addition, larger goods are always delivered on approved EUR pallets that are reused.

We also work to continuously improve our operations by being responsive and following environmental developments, thus adopting and using new environmentally friendly products.
